About Webless

Webless is a well-funded Enterprise AI startup founded in 2024, headquartered in San Francisco Bay Area with a team across India and the U.S. We're pioneering AI-driven web experiences for B2B companies, turning static websites into dynamic, personalized tools that guide visitors toward conversion through generative search and content discovery.

About the Role

As a Senior UX Designer at Webless, you’ll play a critical role in defining the product experience across our AI-driven platform. From reimagining how semantic search and content discovery should work in a B2B setting to crafting intuitive SaaS admin tools and dashboards, you’ll help shape the design language and workflows that power our core products. Your work will directly impact how marketers, content teams, and buyers interact with our platform — driving engagement, insight, and business results through thoughtful, scalable, and elegant design.

What You’ll Do

  • Design Core Product Experiences: Define UX for key workflows across Webless, including semantic search UIs, prompt-based discovery, admin configuration tools, analytics dashboards, and customer-facing controls.
  • Drive Product Design Strategy: Collaborate with engineers, and founders to shape features from zero-to-one — thinking through jobs-to-be-done, edge cases, and product flows.
  • Build and Evolve Design Systems: Help define and maintain Webless’s design language and component library for scalable, consistent UI across surfaces.
  • Prototype and Iterate: Use tools like Figma to ideate, prototype, and validate design directions quickly — from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity mockups.
  • Leverage Feedback and Data: Incorporate insights from customer interviews, usage analytics, and user research to refine and improve product experiences.
  • Collaborate Deeply: Partner closely with engineers for handoff, QA, and thoughtful feedback on implementation details.
  • Own Craft and Quality: Raise the visual and interaction quality of the product — while keeping things pragmatic and shippable in a fast-moving environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of UX/product design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing elegant, intuitive SaaS or B2B product interfaces.
  • Fluency with modern design tools and comfort working in rapid iteration loops.
  • Strong product thinking — able to translate ambiguous problems into clear, actionable design decisions.
  • Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills — you thrive in small, fast-moving teams and work well with founders, customers and engineers.
  • Experience designing for platforms — not just screens — with a systems mindset and scalable design patterns.
  • Ability to balance user needs with technical feasibility and business goals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in an early-stage startup where processes are still evolving.

Bonus Points

  • Experience designing for AI-powered workflows (search, content ranking, personalization).
  • Familiarity with analytics-heavy products or admin-heavy interfaces.
  • Prior work on semantic or faceted search UX, NLP tools, or content discovery interfaces.
  • Front-end literacy — you understand how components come together and feel comfortable working with front end engineers.

Why Join Us?

  • Product ownership: Your designs won’t just influence features — they’ll shape the product’s foundation.
  • Founding-stage impact: Join a company early enough to leave your mark, but backed by institutional investors and live with real customers.
  • Remote-first flexibility: Work from anywhere with async-friendly collaboration.
  • Compensation & equity: Competitive salary and meaningful equity.
  • Mission-driven team: Work with thoughtful builders who care deeply about craft, speed, and customer outcomes.
